At The Indiana Rail Road Company we are dedicated to working with the communities and neighborhoods that we serve.
INRD and its employees are always looking for ways to give back to others in the community because not only do we work in these communities, but we live there too.
Not only are railroads better for the environment then trucks (one rail car is the equivalent to 4 trucks), but our employees strive to make a difference. Whether it’s the employee started Santa Train, or our new History Train, INRD is working to be a positive force in the community.
Indiana Rail Road administers a grant program open to organizations in all communities served by the railroad. Grant awards up to $2,500 will be made on a quarterly basis. Among the projects and causes considered eligible are those related to education, youth programs, community enhancements and preservation and others.
