| At The Indiana Rail Road Company, it's our people that make the difference. |
The Indiana Rail Road has grown traffic volumes from 12,000 during the first year of operations in 1986 to nearly 110,000 carloads in 2004. Our Marketing Team has been able to accomplish this growth by using a combined 80 years of experience in the industry to attact new businesses and industries. Recent examples include a fifty million gallon ethanol facility as well as a regional distribution center for offline customers for strategic forward placement of time sensitive products.
Though our customers may not always know it, The Indiana Rail Road acts as a coordinating agent, seamlessly tying together numerous rail carriers through contract negotiations, car supply, locomotive power and scheduling.
