Micheal D. Engel, Senior Vice President and CFO, and Larry F. Kaelin, Vice President, Business Development Retire

Micheal D. Engel, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, and Larry F. Kaelin, Vice President, Business Development retired March 31, 2024.  Their contributions and leadership have been pivotal to the success of INRD during the decades of their tenure. 

Engel joined INRD in 1990 and held a variety of positions within multiple departments including Customer Service Representative, Controller, and Chief Administrative Officer.  He was promoted to Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in 2013 after serving as Vice President, Accounting.  Engel provided a level of mentoring within his department that developed a talented team ready to lead us into the future.

Kaelin joined INRD in 2003 as Vice President, Coal & Energy Marketing and was promoted to Vice President, Business Development in 2021.  With over 40 years of experience in the coal and energy industry, Kaelin leaves behind a legacy of positivity and growth.
